Doorbell camera deters attempted crime at Limerick house

The men ran when they saw the camera
A DOORBELL camera thwarted an attempted crime in Limerick.
At 1am on March 9, a doorbell camera at a house in Dooradoyle captured three males with their faces covered in the front driveway.
They can be clearly seen approaching the front door but the moment they spotted the doorbell camera, they ran from the house.
Sergeant Ber Leetch, crime prevention officer at Henry Street garda station said: "Extra layers of security will provide extra peace of mind but the most basic rule of security is to make sure all the windows and doors to your home are locked".
