A COMMERCIAL facility which once housed construction company Roadbridge in Limerick has gone on the market.

Some €2.8m is being sought at the former offices of Crossagalla firm Roadbridge, which was placed in liquidation last year.

The landmark office space, which measures just over six acres, is believed to be the largest commercial area serving Limerick city.

Part of the complex is in use, with the telecommunications giant Eir setting up a depot there with its own separate entrance.

But the remainder of the building is being marketed by Dublin estate agency Colliers.

Representatives of the firm have been instructed to sell the property on behalf of Roadbridge Ltd, care of Stephen Tennant and Nicholas O'Dwyer, who were initially put in place as its receivers.

Included in the complex are a mechanics’ workshop, garage and plant store.

These are joined by an office building measuring 1,356 square metres and recently refurbished.

A large yard exists on the southside of the property with a staff car park on its northside. Employing 150 locally, Roadbridge was placed in liquidation by the High Court after it was initially put in receivership after it ran into difficulties during the Covid-19 pandemic.
