Class Medical goes Down Under for tie-up

Based at Annacotty Business Park, the company has entered into an agreement with m|devices, which designs, manufactures and distributes medical devices in Australia.
As a result of this tie-up, m|devices will distribute Class Medical’s flagship product, the Trans Urethral Catheter Safety Valve across the Australian healthcare market.
This product is designed to stop injuries to people who may be using a catheter if they are struggling to pass urine naturally.
Kevin O'Shiel, the chief executive of Class Medical, expressed his excitement about this milestone.
“We are thrilled to partner with m|devices, a respected leader in the Australian medical devices market. This agreement marks a significant step in our international expansion, as we work to bring our clinically proven technology to clinicians and patients worldwide. With this partnership, we can improve patient outcomes and deliver substantial cost savings to healthcare systems in Australia,” he said.
M|Devices chief executive Sam Chaisumdet added: “We are proud to collaborate with Class Medical to introduce their innovative catheter safety valve to the Australian market. The product perfectly complements our well-established continence care solutions by addressing a critical need in healthcare, and we are confident it will make a real difference in reducing catheter-related injuries.”
