Limerick women encouraged to 'learn, support and explore' their health in upcoming talk

Female-focused health forum to take place in Limerick this October
A FEMALE-focused health forum, highlighting gynaecological conditions Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is set to come to Limerick this October.
Éire Endo - A Woman’s Forum will take place on October 12 at 4pm at the Castletroy Park Hotel.
The concept was created by Pallaskenry native, Lisa Walsh, who started up an awareness page on Instagram to highlight the common gynaecological conditions which she herself has.
29-year-old Ms Walsh was diagnosed in January 2024 with stage 4 Endometriosis and PCOS.
Attendees who wish to go to the Éire Endo forum will have the chance to hear from special guests, including Dr Sucheta Johnson,
Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Lisa-Claire Walsh, founder of Éire Endo, and Councillor Elisa O'Donovan, among others.
Tickets for next months' event are available on Eventbrite and are capped at 40 attendees, ensuring “an intimate and engaging experience to learn and support women’s health”.
