Motorists advised of partial closure of Limerick Tunnel for maintenance works

MOTORISTS are being advised that the northbound bore of the Limerick Tunnel will be closed to traffic this Monday night to facilitate scheduled maintenance works.
The planned closure, which will impact traffic travelling towards Clare and Galway will be in place between 7pm and 6.30am on Tuesday.
Traffic travelling in the direction of the Limerick Tunnel will be diverted, at Junction 2, via the N69 (Dock Road), the R527 (Condell Road) and the R445 (Ennis Road) before rejoining the N18 at Junction 4 (Cratloemoyle)
Motorists who intend travelling this Monday night are being advised to allow some additional time because of the diversions that will be place.
The southbound bore of the Limerick Tunnel will remain open at all times.
