Motorists warned of delays following collision at Limerick Tunnel

MOTORISTS are being warned of delays following a collision close to the Limerick Tunnel.

The incident occurred on the Clare-bound carriageway of the N18 at junction 2 (Dock Road) shortly after 5pm this Thursday.

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) which, on social media, advised motorists of the incident says the scene has now been cleared.

However, motorists are still being advised that some delays can be expected due to debris on the N18 between Junction 2 and Junction 3 (Coonagh).

There are no reports of gardaí or any other emergency services attending the scene.
