Munster Rugby fans face costly trip to South Africa for URC final

MUNSTER Rugby fans hoping to see the province lift some silverware for the first time in more than a decade will have to fork out hundreds of euro to do so.
Prices have been revealed for supporters who are looking to attend the URC final in South Africa later this month.
Having overcome Leinster in an edge-of-seat performance at the Aviva Stadium at the weekend, Munster Rugby will head to Cape Town where they will face DHL Stormers on May 27.
Ahead of the final, tour prices have been revealed by Travel Rugby Ireland, Munster’s official travel partner.
The cost of a four night stay, including flights, accommodation and match tickets, will cost anywhere from €895 (per person sharing) to €2,295, depending on the optional extras.
The Rugby Travel Ireland website reads: “We have huge experience of touring South Africa and have only recently returned from having hosted Munster’s supporters tour for the Round of 16 Heineken Cup match versus the Sharks, and then hosting Munster’s supporters tour for the two-match URC tour v Stormers and Sharks."
For fans who won't be travelling to South Africa, the URC final will be broadcast on RTÉ television with the national broadcaster also showing the Limerick v Cork Munster Hurling Championship clash 24 hours later.
