THE GRAND re-opening of McCabes Pharmacy in Castletroy Town Centre was such a treat. A group of wonderful Limerick influencers and members of the community came together to celebrate a business that is part of people’s everyday lives.

Amongst the wonderful displays and services they had on show, there was a wonderful lady engraving perfume bottles, multiple representatives from different brands explaining what products would suit each individual best, and a wonderful band of women performing songs.

The generosity from all the brands, and all the gifts were beyond belief. The event was packed out, and the singers created a fantastic atmosphere. I was simply delighted by the turnout of fabulous bloggers and influencers who turned out to support business in Limerick.

In other news, I appeared on the RTÉ Today Show with Maura Derrane and Dáithí Ó Sé - and the wonderful models from the Holman Lee agency. Asta Lee - my daughter in law - modelled with Celine O’Meara and Sophia Neid, while I talked through the looks.

The women modelled fashions from Joanne’s Fashion House in Killaloe, Clare. I felt such pride to see the Holman Lee women in their element, promoting stunning local designs.

It was such a treat - and I particularly enjoyed presenting the gorgeous clothing with those who are dear to me.

There’s no chance of things slowing down - with Riverfest and Fashionfest just around the corner, I anticipate being busier than ever. I simply can’t wait for all the hubbub and excitement. I look forward to seeing you all there.

-Xx Celia
