No water supply in Limerick village due to burst mains

RESIDENTS in a Limerick village are being advised they will be without water for several hours this Monday evening as repairs are carried out on a burst water mains.
Uisce Éireann issued a notice this Monday afternoon advising customers that there would be supply disruptions in the supply to Mungret, Castlemungret, Skehacreggaun and other surrounding areas in county Limerick, while repairs take place.
Works are scheduled to take place until 7pm.
The utility is also recommending that local residents allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for their supply to fully return.
The cause of the bust main has not been disclosed.
