Well-known musical acts to perform ahead of Munster Final at Limerick stadium
THREE of Ireland’s foremost musical entertainers of the last 20 years will be getting the crowd hyped before this Sunday’s Munster Final between Limerick and Cork.
From 12.15pm, Mundy, Sharon Shannon and Paddy Casey will be performing some of their best-known hits before the eagerly anticipated match in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
The Galway Girl, Blackbird and Saints and Sinners may be heard from the trio who will be performing pitch-side before throw-in.
Those heading early to the TUS Gaelic Grounds are in for a treat. Prior to Limerick’s crucial match-up between Cork on Sunday, May 28, the crowd were treated to a performance by Hermitage Green.
It was also announced this Thursday morning that Limerick and Clare hurling supporters will be able to enjoy some alcoholic beverages from 10.30am on Munster final day publicans were granted to open pubs earlier for the special occasion.
The normal opening hours for pubs on Sundays is 12.30pm.
The gates at the TUS Gaelic Grounds Limerick will open from 11:45am on Sunday morning.
