About 50 people attend local holy well which was repaired by community

Amazing!
Lattin/Cullen Notes:
About fifty people were in attendance at Our Lady's Well in the townland of Ballylahiff, Oola, last Sunday.
The well has been a place of pilgrimage for many centuries, with people travelling from all over the area on August 15 every year seeking relief from ailments such as sore eyes, throat problems and toothache.
In recent years the number of pilgrims visiting the well had dwindled and it fell into disrepair.
However, two years ago, some local people decided to repair the surrounding wall and replace the canopy over the well.
