An Board Pleanála refuses planning for Tipperary creche

The creche had appealed the councils decision to refuse planning in May of this year
The creche located in Skehanagh, Templemore applied for planning permission originally for "change of use from storage sheds to a creche, retention permission for extension for use as a creche, Permission for New Carparking and alterations to existing wastewater treatment system."
Planning to expand the creche was refused by Tipperary County Council and was appealed by the creche.
On 15 October it was announced that An Bord Pleanála had refused permission for planning once again.
The Bord decided to refuse permission for some of the following reasons:
- The proposed capacity would double the number of children already permitted.
- Location is rural and only can be accessed by means of a private car
- Traffic worries that increasing the capacity will lead to increased traffic in the area
