BREAKING: Tipperary gardaí rush to scene in town centre after report of shoplifting

Gardaí patrolling in Clonmel town centre as part of the recently launched high visibility operation responded to a report of shoplifting on Tuesday.

Gardaí said: "We were at the scene in minutes and able to assist the local store manager.

"Speaking for this store, he said that there is a great sense of security from both management and colleagues this week, knowing gardaí are present.

"We are glad to have received positive feedback regarding this initiative."
