A councillor is calling for the council to carry out upgrading works to the zebra crossing on Gashouse Lane, that links Main Street in Tipperary Town with Station Road.
The motion will be tabled at the Tipperary/Cahir/Cashel Municipal District meeting on Monday by Cllr John O'Heney.
He has asked that these works include repainting the crossing markings, along with the addition of more signage and lighting to warn drivers and pedestrians of impending danger.
