Cashel Tidy Towns weekly report

At long last we have had a week of being able to get many of the jobs done.

The biggest work was the first grass cut in the St John the Baptist Churchyard which took two mornings to complete, it also gave us a chance to tidy up and weed many of the graves.

Other jobs completed were the tidy up of several flower beds ready now for planting, a lot of  weeding and litter picking was also achieved, we also helped to clear old metal from Halla Feile that Cashel rugby club will collect to help them with their funds as well as repairing the potholes in the car parking area.

We would also like to thank two Rockwell College TY students for all the work done by them.

We are also in the process of getting this year's entry form for the National Tidy Town Awards.

This has been a lot of time spent on it to impress the judges on eight the categories.
