Sarah's Cycle remembers an inspirational Clonmel girl

Down Syndrome Tipperary has paid tribute to everybody that supported Sarah's Cycle held last Sunday.

The event is held every year to remember Sarah Dillon, an inspirational Clonmel girl who died in 2014.

"Sarahs cycle will always hold a special place in our hearts, not just for the funds raised, but for the community it fostered. It’s a reminder of how powerful we are when we come together for a shared purpose.Thank you once again to everyone who cycled, supported and donated. We look forward to continuing this journey with you all," said Linda Gillick, Chairperson of Down Syndrome Tipperary.

“On behalf of Down Dyndrome Tipperary, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to each person who supported Sarah’s cycle this year. This was not just a cycle but a powerful example of community spirit, determination, and the incredible support we have received from all corners of the local community.

We are incredibly grateful to the many cyclists who took part giving of their time and energy to raise awareness and vital funds for a cause that means so much to us. Their dedication and enthusiasm fuelled our mission, and together are making a tremendous impact on the lives of our members.

A special thank you to the local businesses, individuals and supporters who generously donated to our branch, your contributions are helping us to continue our work supporting individuals with Down Syndrome and their families in Tipperary. It is your kindness and generosity that allow us to provide the resources and programmes that make such a difference in the lives of so many," said the chairperson.
