Every name in this Tipperary graveyard listed in alphabetical order with new map!

Well done to the Templemore Graveyard committee who have erected a new map of the Sacred Heart Cemetery (old graveyard) at the small gate entrance, nearest the church.

Every grave is numbered on the map while every name is also listed in alphabetical order.

The mapping of the graveyard took place a few years ago and the information has now been relayed onto the beautiful new map.

Over the years there has been a steady stream of visitors to Templemore in search of relatives and if they weren’t lucky enough to meet a knowledgeable local they often went away empty-handed.

The new map is a marvellous addition to the story of Templemore and hopefully will assist many more visitors in their genealogical searches in the years to come. Well done to all involved.
