Football club in Tipperary given green light to build two seated stands at its ground

A football club in Tipperary has been given the green light to build two seated stands at its ground.

Moneygall Football Club has been given permission by Offaly County Council for the development at its grounds at Elderberry Drive, Moneygall.

The development will consist of the construction of two seated stands. These will be in the form of recycled shipping containers.

Planning permission was granted with four conditions attached.

The club was formed in 1978 and is affiliated to the North Tipperary District League and to the North Tipperary Schoolchildren’s League.

They moved to their current ground in 2017 where a full-sized pitch has been developed and it has seen continual improvements over the last number of years.
