Heartbroken Tipperary community pays tribute to 12-year-old Kate Maria Quinlan
The 12-year-old passed away peacefully at home after a long illness surrounded by her loving family
Tributes have been paid to Kate Maria Quinlan who passed away last Sunday, she was just 12-years-old. The young girl is said to have passed away peacefully, at home after a long illness borne with grace and courage.
Members of Kate's local community have left messages of condolences and memories of the young girl in the wake of her passing and in support of her heartbroken family.
One mourner wrote: "What a beautiful little girl. May you find the courage and strength from each other to come through this very sad time."
Another said: "We are devastated for you all on the passing of beautiful Kate. We will forever remember Evans beautiful classmate in Clerihan NS in our prayers .
"Thinking of Kates Grandmother, cousins, friends & all who loved her at this heartbreaking time."
The Rosegreen Community Development Association also paid tribute to Kate, assuring her family that she would never be forgotten, they said: "The Directors and Committee Members extend our deepest sympathy on the very sad loss of your much loved Kate Maria.
"There are no words for the sadness we feel for you all. You are in our thoughts and prayers and please be assured of our support at all times. Kate Maria will always be remembered by everyone in the Community."
Another member of the local community shared a fond memory they have of the young girl, they said: "My heart is breaking for you. We enjoyed Kate's visit to our vegetable garden and her interest in nature and gardening. She was such a positive, thoughtful child."
Kate Maria Quinlan will be sadly missed by her loving family, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
Mass of the Angels will be celebrated this Thursday, 7th November, in St John the Baptist Church, Cashel at 1.00pm followed by private burial.
