LIVE: Tipperary business makes shortlist for prestigious award
A Thurles business, Duggan Group, has made the prestigious Export Industry Awards shortlist.
The Irish Exporters Association has announced that Thurles business The Duggan Group has been shortlisted at the prestigious Export Industry Awards.
The company has been nominated in the Private Irish Business of the Year category. The Export Industry Awards recognise excellence across Ireland’s export sector.
This year, there are 12 award categories, ranging from manufacturing to life sciences, covering topics such as sustainability and innovation. The category winners and the 2025 Overall Exporter of the Year will be announced at the 23rd Export Industry Awards and Gala Dinner on October 3 2025 at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre.
Speaking at the announcement, Simon McKeever, CEO of the IEA, said, “The Export Industry Awards are a celebration of the remarkable achievements of Ireland’s exporters. I would like to congratulate all shortlisted companies on this outstanding accomplishment.
"The companies have not only demonstrated exceptional innovation and resilience but have also set a benchmark for excellence in the export sector.”
"The shortlisted companies will also have an opportunity to participate in the IEA Masterclass given by Trinity Executive Education on June 16.

"The Masterclass aims to support exporting companies and those who support the industry, in developing adaptive strategies
for fast changing international markets.
