'Mindless act of vandalism': Tipperary community in shock following incident overnight
Shocking!
"Another mindless act of vandalism," says a Tipperary councillor after a local community was left in shock following an incident overnight.
Cllr Máirín McGrath said: "Yet another mindless act of vandalism to life saving equipment in our village.
"Please God the culprits or their loved ones will never have to depend on the use of a defibrillator in an emergency situation.
"We are so lucky to have these around the village but some don't understand their value."
"There is continuous instances of anti social behavior in the village and around the car park in recent weeks.
"These people aren't strangers, some are local and seem to have no respect for the area or the hardworking volunteers that make the community what it is.
"I'm glad the gardaí are now investigating this because it needs to be stopped."
