'Over many years he has been a constant,' tributes to Tipperary man on his retirement

DUNDRUM NOTES:

Last Friday our local Marl bog CE scheme participant, Eamonn Ryan, retired from his duties in Knockavilla Village and Hall.

Over many years, Eamonn has been a constant in the village ensuring that every aspect of the area is kept neat and tidy.

Flower beds, footpaths grass cutting have been maintained to Eamon's own very high standards.

For us in the Community Council, his help and support has been invaluable as we continue our work upgrading the community hall.

Thanks so much Eamonn for all you've done for Knockavilla Village and Hall, enjoy your retirement, and best wishes for the future.

We would also like to commend and acknowledge all the work done by everyone in the local Marl bog CE scheme based in Dundrum Community Hall.

Without all their efforts and work, our villages wouldn't look as good as they do, and all of the local voluntary organisations benefit so much from their input.
