Popular Tipperary band set to return with new single after 15 year hiatus

Jefl & Hyde have announced their surprise return
Popular Nenagh band, Jefl & Hyde have announced their surprise return after a 15 year hiatus.
The band, which will now make music under the name ‘Malbay’, posted the news on Facebook last week saying:
“We’ve decided to distribute our one-and-only EP to all the usual music streaming platforms. Our Spotify profile is linked but you’ll also find it wherever you usually get your music.
“It has been 15 years since its release so now seemed as good a time as any to preserve that chapter of our lives. With anniversaries and nostalgia in mind, we also pledged to make some new music together during the summer just gone. It will be under a new moniker but our first release might be something you recognise, just not as it was before. More on that next week…”
They have since revealed the new single to be ‘Mithra-Grandchamp’, a rework of a Jefl & Hyde fan favourite.
It will be released under the new moniker on Friday and will feature Cork singer Molly Lynch.
