South Tipperary artists are getting ready for summer exhibition in Clonmel
STAG Junior artists will return next Saturday
Adult South Tipperary Art Group (STAG) artists are very busy now on Tuesday nights and Wednesday mornings preparing for the STAG exhibition at Clonmel Library in June.
The gender balance in the group will soon be equal as there are many more young, middle aged and older men who have now joined STAG on Tuesday nights. Welcome to all the new members including Vinny, Almas, Jim, Natali, Brooke, Simon, Maryna and Dylan.
Some members of the STAG work team designed and painted the sets for St Mary's Choral Society's panto, Sleeping Beauty, which was a great success.
Congratulations to Eileen and Miriam, who sold paintings last week. Several other works by STAG adult artists have been sold over the last few months from The Showgrounds shopping centre, Clonmel and from the Organiser Maureen Purcell.
Junior STAG artists are on their mid-term break. A new session of five weeks up to Easter will commence for both the primary (9 years to 6th Class) and senior (1st Year to Leaving Certs) sections next Saturday February 25.
New members are welcome.
