10. Sean Hayes (Kiladangan) The whole country got to see Hayes at his brilliant best in the two county final games, and his crucial goal in the replay epitomised his attributes. His pace was incredible for that goal and that has been a hallmark of his play all year, burning defenders with regularity. A shoe-in for the Tipp seniors if Cahill has sense!!

11. Aidan McCormack (Thurles Sarsfields) A talisman for Sarsfields, he was in top form throughout the campaign. I can scarcely recall him missing a free this year, but his scoring feats from play on top of that were savagely important for his team. Finished the year with a big total of 2-59 with 2-11 coming from play.

12. Billy Seymour (Kiladangan) Like McCormack, Seymour's placed ball striking was incredibly important for a team that won a replayed final by a single point. His form has been top-class all year, and he looks like a player rejuvenated after a poor 2022. Finished the campaign with a huge tally of 2-65 with 2-23 from play as he topped the scoring charts.

13. Darragh Stakelum (Thurles Sarsfields) Another man who came of age this year was Darragh Stakelum. Many would have touted him to be a midfielder when it came to his best position, but he was a massive asset inside and consistently delivered big-scoring performances. Another man who will surely be in the shake-up for the Tip seniors, as he finished the year as the top scorer from play in the championship with 1-26.
