The Tipperary team to play Waterford has been announced and it is the same as the side which played last Sunday against Limerick in Thurles. Rhys Shelly, a steady keeper with excellent puckouts, starts in goals. Cathal Barrett, Michael Breen and Ronan Maher are listed to start.

The half back line is the launch pad for Tipperary with Eoghan Connolly, Bryan O'Mara and Seamus Kennedy ready to stop attacks and start them for Tipperary. All three hurl from the front and will help pack the middle third of the field.

In centrefield Dan McCormack, who was outstanding against Limerick picking up Gearoid Hegarty the last day, is back alongside Alan Tynan. The half forward line sees Conor Stakelum, Patrick Bonner Maher and Noel McGrath line out. All three were excellent against Limerick and will be expected to pick up from where they left off.

The full forward line sees Jake Morris at 13, Gearoid O'Connor at full forward and Mark Kehoe in the other corner.

It is hoped that Cathal Barrett will start and so there was a suspected injury to Jake Morris so it remains to be seen if this team starts however it is the team that is named so we will go from there.

The game on Sunday is at 4pm in Thurles with Cork and Limerick throwing in at the same time.
