Thurles festival set for this weekend postponed

Organisers cite production issues
Thurles festival Lark in the Park is to be postponed to next May.
The festival was to take place at Kickham Park on the Mill Road on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
In a statement posted on social media, organisers say they have had "production issues" and are postponing to ensure a high-quality show can be provided.
They said:
"These issues have proven to be irretrievable before the festival goes ahead, and rather than disappoint you on the day, we have to postpone the festival until the May Bank Holiday, Sunday, May 4, 2025."
Headliner Mark McCabe is to return in May, and tickets sold are valid for the next date.
Organisers say refunds will be provided through Eventbrite for those who can not attend in May.
Ticketholders will be contacted shortly by email.
