Thurles school triumph at all-Ireland choir competition

News filtered through last Friday and spread throughout the rooms & corridors of Coláiste Mhuire that our school had triumphed yet again on the All-Ireland stage in Choir singing.

Our Music Department at Coláiste Mhuire under the guidance of Ms Helen Wallace, Ms Eimear Lowth & Ms Caoimhe Geaney, have been working diligently over months to prepare for the recent AIMS Choral festival Cameo Competition that featured the top schools in Ireland at New Ross, county Wexford.

Undaunted and unfazed by the incredibly high standard in the competition, our boys and girls took to the stage with a smile on their faces enjoying every single musical bar of Stick it to the man from the School of Rock musical.

Comhghairdeas libh.
