Well done to all involved in the Cahir Cahir Dawn Walk that took place last Saturday in fine weather.

The walk was sponsored by Oakpark Foods, Murphy’s Candles and O'Donnell's Daybreak, Service Station and supported by Cahir Meet & Train and Cahir Youth Tidy Towns Group.

Starting at 5am on the morning, this event was to create awareness of youth mental health issues and was in aid of Youth Facilities in Cahir. There was no entry fee but donations were accepted in the morning. All support is welcome and donations are much appreciated.

A big crowd turned up once again this year and well done to all those who arrived on site with smiles on their faces despite the early hour.

Thanks also must go to the staff of Oakpark and O’Donnell’s Woodview service station for the catering afterwards at such an unearthly hour and all enjoyed a cup of tea and a bacon bap afterwards.

Thanks also to all those who turned up to remember a loved one or support the cause. Funds raised on the day will once again go towards Youth facilities.

Thanks also to all those who were involved in organising this wonderful event. Once again this event showed the fantastic community spirit of everyone who got up early to create awareness of youth mental health issues and aid Youth Facilities in Cahir. The sun came up to a wonderful show of support from Cahir and surrounding areas.

Well done to all.
