Tipperary County Council to close Templemore bridge for a month
The closure is from August 6 to September 6, 2024
Tipperary County Council have announced their intention to close the L-7160-0 Abbey Road Bridge, Templemore.
The closure will come into effect from midnight Tuesday, August 6, 2024, until midnight, September 6, 2024.
Alternative routes are as follows:
Traffic accessing Abbey Lane (L-7160) from the Blackcastle Rd will remain on the L-3066 Blackcastle Rd, turning right at the T-Junction onto the N62, continuing on the R501 to L7160 Abbey Lane.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate the replacement of a bridge culvert off Blackcastle Rd.
