Cahir Ladies Football GAA Club

This year Cahir LGFA has been lucky enough to be selected as one of the teams to participate in the Lidl One Good Club initiative.

This initiative will run over a 10 week period starting Monday September8 and the main objective is supporting positive youth mental health. It will be broken down into 5 themes, each running over a 2 week period.

Clubs are asked to incorporate these themes into their training and everyday lives through fun, games, exercise etc.

Clubs have also been asked to document these activities and post them to our Cahir LGFA social media platforms and link with Lidl and Jigsaw.

There are also cash prizes up for grabs for the best clubs, so our first theme will be

"Be Active" started on Monday 8. We hope to gather some photos and videos from the different groups being active over the 2 week period. The guidelines are very easy and open and we suggest the more creative, the better. This is something that you will be seeing and hearing about a lot over the next few weeks and we are calling people to support, share and get involved in any way. All ideas and help always welcome. Thank you!
