Tipperary had 40 people on October homeless list, according to Government figures

There were 40 people officially homeless in county Tipperary in October, according to the latest figures released by the Department of the Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
However, it is not possible to say how these are divided between north and south of the county as Tipperary is classed under the South East region by the Department, with only Clare and Limerick forming the Mid-West region.
North Tipperary is generally classified as being in the Mid-West, with south Tipperary being part of the South-East, along with Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford.
