Tipperary hillwaking group raise almost €12,000 for local charities
The funds are to be distributed in the new year
Many familiar faces from Mid-Tipp Hillwalkers on a recent walk along the Castlebar Greenway to raise funds for Thurles Meals on Wheels and Jigsaw.
Fundraising activities based around two walking weekends have raised almost €12,000 for charity this year.
These funds will be distributed to the deserving charities at an event in the new year.
