2. Robert Doyle Rating: 7/10 The young Clonoulty Rossmore defender was handed a tough task in following Patrick Horgan in the final and he definitely gave a good account of himself to cap off a successful personal league campaign. Horgan picked off a few trademark scores in the first 15 minutes but Doyle had some brilliant wins in 50/50 ball and was one of the few defensive players to come out of the game with a decent 70 minute performance. One of the finds of the league.

3. Eoghan Connolly Rating: 6/10 Connolly’s namesake Alan continues to be a thorn in the Tipperary’s side as he caused consternation in the Premier defence throughout the first half. Credit has to go to the Tipp full-back as he settled down well in the second half but the damage was well done by that point. He has had a positive league campaign and, hopefully, this outing won’t shake his confidence.

4. Michael Breen Rating: 8/10 Without doubt, Tipperary’s player of the league. Breen again excelled in his man marking duties, holding Brian Hayes very well and winning the personal battle between the two man mountains. He has stepped up as a real leader in 2025 and his influence will be pivotal to Tipperary’s chances in the Munster Championship.

5. Joe Caesar Rating: 5/10 Caesar endured a struggling outing from a team perspective and, in reality, he was a victim of the team setup as much as anything else. The overlapping runs left Caesar in no-man's land a few times when Cork charged in on goal and he could do little to influence proceedings. All told, he has made a decent impact in his first league campaign and he will be one of the young players that can grow in the coming years.
