The Clonmel High School is celebrating the 125th anniversary of the establishment of the school in this academic year and will be the focus of an exhibition to go on display at the Tipperary Museum of Hidden History.

The museum exhibition will be one of many events that will take place in Clonmel to mark the milestone.

EVENTS

Lead partner Tipperary Museum of Hidden History is currently working on gathering photographs and quotes from pupils and past pupils about their recollection of important events, their experiences and fun times in the school.

“The purpose of collecting these images and stories is to give you, its diaspora a voice and visual flavour of your time at the High School over the years. If you have photographs from your school trip, the many Hope Foundation expeditions to India, overseas excursions, outings, sports days and sporting occasions, shows and debs, Tipperary Museum would be delighted to view them,” said Marie McMahon, curator and manager of the Tipperary County Council museum service.

Simply contact the museum by the following means, with your stories and photographs. If you could include the names of the those in the pictures that would be great.
