Tipperary's junior camogie team get their league campaign underway this weekend

David Sullivan and his Tipperary team will travel to Cork this Saturday to take on the home side in their opening game of the VERY division 2B league.
Lots of work has been done since before Christmas with trails, gym work, training and challenge match all preparing them for Saturday’s opening competitive encounter.
The opposition doesn’t come much tougher in a Cork team who were narrowly beaten in last year’s All-Ireland Intermediate final.
Tipperary having been relegated from Intermediate in 2021 contested the All-Ireland Junior championship and were disappointed not to make the knockout stages.
The league will be a huge test this year meeting Cork, Kilkenny, Galway and Wexford sides who will all play in the intermediate championship this summer.
The management team have assembled a strong panel including Burgess Duharra duo Ciara McKeogh and Jenny Grace and joint captains Ciannait Walsh (Eire Og Annacarty) and Claire Stakelum (Holycross Ballycahill) and will be looking for players to nail down a spot come championship.
