Tributes paid after untimely passing of talented footballer in Tipperary

KILSHEELAN/KILCASH NOTES:

Deepest sympathies to the Connolly family on the untimely passing of Brian, Brian was well-known for his kind and friendly demeanour to all and will be sadly missed by his wide circle of friends and customer base at Clonmel  Oil.

Brian was a talented footballer and had a keen interest in the fortunes of his clubs Kilsheelan-Kilcash GAA  where he served  as player,  coach and selector and also gave great service to Kilsheelan United soccer club, he possessed encyclopaedic knowledge of all counties in relation to Gaelic Games especially football, he was a regular at All Ireland football finals regardless of the contestants.

To his wife Roisin, children Riain, Sean, Sophie and Daniel, his parents Sean and Therese, sisters Sile and  Niamh and  extended family we express our deepest sorrow.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.
