Upgrade of toilets badly needed in Cashel insists local councillor

The upgrading of the public toilets in Cashel are badly needed according to a local councillor.

Cllr Declan Burgess told a meeting of Tipperary/Cahir/Cashel Municipal District that the toilets in Main Street need to be upgraded.

“They are old fashioned now and an upgrade needs to be carried out and funding should be applied for,” said Cllr Burgess.

Cllr Burgess also told the meeting that the plaza in Main Street should also be cleaned up.

PLAZA

“The plaza is filthy and we need to give it a tidy up,” he said.

Anthony Colman, Town Manager said they would have a look at both the public toilets in Main Street and at the plaza and see what can be done.
