'We still have the same panel and we have some younger lads coming through,' says McGrath

Liam McGrath spoke at the recent launch of the County Championships
With the intercounty championships coming to a hectic conclusion for Tipperary, the focus turns immediately to the club scene.
The action concluded in the divisional championships, and then the county gets underway in August, and Loughmore Castleiney will be amongst the favourites to defend their titles in both codes.
Dual champions Loughmore Castleiney will be seeking to defend both senior hurling and senior football titles. Last year’s football captain, Liam McGrath, acknowledged that this was something they had not done before, and, looking ahead, he said that there are a lot of clubs who would figure they are capable of winning.
“We still have the same panel, and we have some younger lads coming through, which is a good thing.
"If we can keep clear of injuries, we would be hoping for a good run in both hurling and football”, he added.
