Stephen Rosney of Tipperary is the third Irish player to win a Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tour card at this weekend's UK Qualifying School.

Rosney, from Nenagh, earned a two-year card by getting enough points over four days of qualifying games in Milton Keynes, England.

He now joins fellow Irish players Willie O'Connor, Keane Barry, Mickey Mansell, Brendan Dolan, Daryl Gurney, Shane McGuirk, Niall Cullenton, and Josh Rock on the PDC Pro Tour. Rosney represents Offaly in county darts and serves as captain of the Republic of Ireland men's team. On Sunday, he defeated Scott Mitchell, Adam Hunt, and Danny Trueman to reach the last 16.

Rosney has two years to make it into the top 64 in the PDC rankings to keep his tour card.

Dylan Slevin from Borrisokane could not regain his tour card and will now have to play on the PDC Challenge Tour and the Modus Super Series.
