Féile Beag comes to Thurles this August Bank Holiday

Music lovers are in for a fantastic weekend as Féile Beag returns to Hickey’s Pub in Thurles for another celebration of outstanding live music, community spirit and unforgettable entertainment.

Taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the festival has become one of the town’s most eagerly anticipated events, attracting music fans from across Tipperary and beyond.

Combining a relaxed atmosphere with an exceptional line-up of performers, Féile Beag continues to grow in popularity while staying true to its community roots.

Hosted at the iconic Hickey’s Pub, the festival brings together an exciting mix of established acts and emerging artists across a range of musical genres.

From indie and rock to folk, acoustic and alternative music, there is something to suit every taste.

The intimate setting creates a unique festival experience, allowing audiences to enjoy live performances up close while sharing in the energy and excitement that only a smaller venue can provide.

It is this close connection between musicians and audiences that has helped make Féile Beag such a special event on the local music calendar.

What truly sets Féile Beag apart, however, is its charitable focus.

Every euro raised throughout the weekend will be donated to Jigsaw, Ireland’s national youth mental health charity.

Jigsaw provides free, confidential mental health support and advice to young people and their families, helping thousands of young people navigate the challenges they face.

By attending the festival, music fans are not only enjoying an outstanding weekend of entertainment but are also contributing directly to an organisation that makes a real and lasting difference in communities across the country.

The success of Féile Beag is built on the dedication of its organisers, volunteers, musicians and sponsors, all of whom generously give their time and talents to make the festival possible.

Their commitment has helped establish an event that celebrates not only great music but also kindness, generosity and the power of communities coming together for a shared purpose.

The festival also provides a welcome boost for Thurles, with visitors supporting local cafés, restaurants, shops and accommodation providers over the Bank Holiday weekend.

It is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the town’s renowned hospitality while creating a lively atmosphere that benefits everyone.

Whether you’re a regular attendee or planning your first visit, Féile Beag at Hickey’s Pub promises a memorable weekend of exceptional music, great company and community spirit.

With every ticket sold helping to support Jigsaw, festival-goers can enjoy knowing that every performance, every applause and every contribution is helping to improve the lives of young people across Ireland.

It’s a weekend where music truly makes a difference.

Tickets are currently on sale and can be bought on Powertik, costing €12.75 for a Friday ticket, and €14.75 for Saturday and Sunday tickets each.
