Local Tipperary variety group to present hilarious three act comedy

The Emly Variety Players will perform 'Love Thy Neighbour'
The Emly Variety Players will present ‘Love Thy Neighbour’, a three act comedy by Jimmy Keary, in Emly Parish Hall from Thursday, March 19, to Sunday, March 22, at 8pm nightly.
This is Emly Variety Players 29th play since they were reformed in 1989 and they have also put on many pantomimes and concerts as well as musicals such as ‘Oliver’, ‘My Fair Lady’, and ‘Oklahoma’ to mention but a few.
All the proceeds from the first night's production are going to the Emly Lourdes fund to help take people to Lourdes.
The play ‘Love Thy Neighbour’ centres on the humorous complications that arise when neighbours become a little too involved in each other’s lives.
With witty dialogue, colourful characters and a series of unexpected twists, the story unfolds in a way that keeps audiences amused from beginning to end.
Jimmy Keary’s sharp observation of everyday life and his gift for comedy shine throughout the play, capturing the quirks and misunderstandings that can arise between neighbours and turning them into moments of pure theatrical fun.
‘Love Thy Neighbour’ promises a warm, light-hearted night at the theatre and is sure to leave audiences smiling.
