Major announcement made ahead of Tipperary Halloween fireworks display

People who missed out on tickets for Thurles’ Halloween Festival will be able to attend the fireworks display this Saturday.

Cllr Jim Ryan announced the news via social media on Thursday evening, stating that there will be a designated area open to those who have not got a ticket for the festival, but would like to take in the display.

He said: “If you don't have a ticket for this Saturday's Thurles Halloween Festival you can still come to the town park to watch the fireworks display safely and free of charge.

“Come into the town park via the foot bridge and watch them from the large green area. However you will not be able to get into the festival site area as this is a fully ticketed area. Fireworks will go off at 8.30pm”
