South Tipperary Disability Group Forums annual event

South Tipperary Disability Group Forums Annual Event the ‘Lunch and Roll Picnic’ took place in the Sensory Garden in Cahir from 12.30pm to 2pm. The Cahir Men’s Shed started the event off with a lively set of songs and entertained everyone over their outdoor picnic in the beautiful surrounds of the Sensory Garden in Cahir. As usual there were many disability groups from surrounding areas that attended with groups from Moorehaven in Tipperay Town, Thurles Rehab Centre, Irish Wheelchair Association and Sonas, Melview Nursing Home, Clonmel all bringing buses full of people to the event. On what turned out to be a lovely sunny day everyone clapped, sang or danced away to the music by while enjoying chatting with friends.

Thanks also to those who came along to support such as Cllr Andy Moloney and John O’Meara, Roads Manager, Tipp Co Co who brought along the Age Friendly Disability Bike for all to see on the day. Well done to all the groups, friends and family who came along and made this a memorable day
