Car that broke down on Kildare motorway was later stolen: Gardaí investigating

Gardaí are investigating after a car was stolen from the Hard Shoulder of the M7 in Kildare.  

The incident happened near Junction 10 (Naas South) on the eastbound section of the motorway between 10am and 1.30pm on Monday last. 

The Seat Alhambra vehicle broke down and was left by its owner. 

The blue-coloured people carrier had a registration of 132 LS 575.

Meanwhile, a Toyota Aqua vehicle was stolen from Moorefield Drive in Newbridge between Monday night and Tuesday morning. 

The car had a registration of 162 D 3586.
