Just let it cool down a bit: Coffee business in this Kildare town announces brief break

Don't worry, this County Kildare business isn't crashing out from a caffeine high...

Spresso, which is based in Tarmel Centre (near the Cutlery Road in Newbridge), was established in December of last year by Newbridge native Lauren Kinsella.

Since then, the business, which is virtually synonymous with Ms Kinsella, has gone on to enjoy success by serving coffee and treats to the people of Newbridge (alongside her rubber duck mascot, Quackson).

And now, nine months since its inception, Ms Kinsella has announced a brief break for Spresso.

She said via a social media post: "I'm taking just a lil [sic] break to spend with some friends and family from August 22, 2025 until September 1, to give myself a recharge!"

"Come by before then for chats and coffee from yours truly", Ms Kinsella added.
