A woman was put in fear after her son “got into her face” and was shouting and roaring at her.

The man appeared at Naas District Court for allegedly breaching a court order.

The man, aged in his 20s, was arrested by Garda Eamonn McGinley at 11.15pm on January 10 last.

It was alleged that the man breached a safety order which was granted in February 2021.

The garda said the man made no reply to the allegation.

The garda said the man had been away for three months and while things were harmonious when he initially returned “he got up and into her face shouting and roaring at her, putting her in fear.”

Judge Desmond Zaidan adjourned the matter to March 16 and the defendant was told to stay away from his mother’s address.

He also directed that the defendant is to provide an address to the gardaí.
