Join violin sensation Anton Jablokov as he returns to Riverbank Arts Centre on Saturday, June 17 for a memorable performance with Swiss guitarist Stefano Moccetti, featuring a special guest performance from Vladimir Jablokov.

In 2020 Anton founded a duo with guitarist Stefano Moccetti and Anton is very excited to bring this combination of marrying the violin and the guitar to create the most beautiful sounds to his Irish audiences.

This unique fusion of blending violin and guitar in classical, traditional, and jazz music makes this duo truly dynamic. The concert will include Spanish Dance - De Falla, Asturias, Hungarian Dance no 5, Danny Boy and Brazilian Song - Tico Tico No Fuba.

Anton was born into a family of classical musicians in Bratislava. While Anton’s musical upbringing was classical, he is also a natural in Jazz, Gypsy, Folk and many other musical styles. At the age of nine he discovered the music of Jazz violin legend Stephane Grappelli and famous Hungarian violinist Roby Lakatos and this led to many musical experiments at quite an early age.

Anton entered the State Conservatory of Music in Bratislava in 2004, followed by studies at Hochschule, Lucerne-Switzerland and Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen-Germany. He obtained his final Master’s degree - "Specialized Solo Performance" under the guidance of Sergej Krylov at the Conservatory of Music in Lugano-Switzerland. He has also won several international competitions. He has developed his own unique virtuosic style while touring Europe since 2014. Uniquely Anton loves to perform music by memory.
