KILDARE: Newbridge resident sent forward for trial over alleged theft of €5,600

A Newbridge resident accused of a theft offence has had his case sent forward for trial.

Andy Connors, with an address listed as 2 Millfield Manor in Newbridge, was accused of committing the offence at a property in County Kildare.

It was alleged that the 23-year-old defendant stole €5,600 of cash.

After a book of evidence was served by gardaí on Mr Connors, substitute Judge Alec Gabbett sent his case forward for trial to the next sittings of Naas Circuit Criminal Court, which will commence on October 3.
