Music of Chappell Roan and Johnny Cash to feature in Kildare Alzheimer's disease fundraiser
The tunes will be provided by the Kildare North Ukulele Club
Music from popular artists such as Chappell Roan and Johnny Cash will be featured as part of a fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Society.
The Kildare North Ukulele Club will be busking at Specsavers Newbridge's upcoming annual fundraiser for the charity.
Specsavers Newbridge notably raised funds for the Alzheimer's Society back in 2023, when team members from the branch took part in the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon in Dublin.
A bake sale and raffle will also take place at the event.
Announcing its involvement in the fundraiser, the Club, quoting one Carly Lucking on Facebook, said: "Last year, we managed to raise almost €2,000 euro over the summer.
"The music will be all your favourites everything from Johnny Cash to Chappell Roan."
Ms Lucking added: "We would love your support so please come along and enjoy the tunes for a really good cause."
The fundraiser will take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025 and the busk will take place from 1pm until 2pm outside of Specsavers Newbridge.
